"I wanted to take time to thank you for providing the Agile 10 Key program. I have been wanting to learn this for years. I am almost 50 and this is GREAT! I didn't even know where to place my fingers 2 weeks ago and now I am doing wonderful. I had searched all over the Internet and could never find anything to help me. What a wonderful program you have made available for people like me." -- Comment from user L.S.

Building ten-key typing skills with Agile 10 Key

Agile 10 Key helps you get up to speed and on the mark for your resume, a job application or skills test, or your own productivity.

Work toward your speed goals in either Keystrokes Per Minute (KPM) or Keystrokes Per Hour (KPH). You can use automatic speed goal adjustment features to optimize your practice while you concentrate on the exercise. Graphical gauges allow you to track your performance without reading anything except what you are typing. Color is used too, so you'll know how you're doing even without looking directly at the gauges. Agile 10 Key also gives you continuous full statistics display in text form, with gross and net speeds, keystrokes, errors, and accuracy.

Do you always type numbers without looking down? Are you confident with every key on the numeric keypad? Although "ten key" is the common term for numeric entry, there are actually 16 keys to master on the standard PC keypad--the numbers, the period, the Enter key, and the four arithmetic operators. Agile 10 Key's practice exercises can help you become adept at any and all of these keys.

Accuracy is stressed, and Agile 10 Key uses net speed to compare to speed goals. Errors are highlighted in the text, and after typing you can review your entire practice text and see exactly which characters you missed completely and which you corrected. Three modes for handling errors let you train according to your preference and for different situations.

There are nine practice exercises to give you an edge on a variety of practical applications. Type pure numbers or decimal amounts, with or without line breaks. Learn and practice the keys row by row. Or tackle everything with a full exercise featuring decimal amounts with all the operators, in one or two columns per line. No matter which practice mode you choose, you'll always have a consistent sense of progress with exactly 10 keystrokes per line.

Ten-key typing on the Mac, too

And how! Train for numeric entry tasks in any environment, all on your Mac. Maybe you want to become adept at Apple's keypad and be an ace at Appleworks, yet you'd like to have solid skills on PC-style keypads in case you find yourself in a PC workplace or computer lab? Why not have both--Agile 10 Key provides practice for all 18 keys on your Mac keypad, including the Clear key, which can be a time saver if used appropriately. In PC layout mode, it mimics a Windows keypad, right down to the big "+" key. There's also a handy keyboard reference comparing the two keypad layouts. Agile 10 Key is the logical cross-platform choice for ten-key practice.

Agile 10 Key is designed for convenience. Settings can be shown or hidden with a mouse click or key press. You can hide or show the desktop and other applications with one click. A reference chart highlights the differences between the Mac and PC layouts. Help is located inside the software and is also provided as a separate file.
