The Sudan Freedom Group is a place to learn, discuss, and take action on Sudan freedom, peace, human rights, and justice.
Sudan only came alive in the media with the recent continuing situation in Darfur, but the war and holocaust in Sudan is much older. Sudan's government and the militias it has supported have killed and displaced millions. Every conceivable atrocity has been committed.
Peace processes are underway, but people often do not realize that these processes are imperfect. Violence continues in Darfur. The slaves are not free. Those who have committed atrocities have not been brought to justice. Criminals and corrupt representatives make a mockery of peace talks and international discussions. The UN has avoided taking effective action.
Your voice is needed. Stand together with the people of Sudan and call for freedom, peace, and justice!
